Pilgrim’s Rest & Waterval Boven

LSP won a tender in 2017 to complete Feasibility Studies for two Strategic Tourism Projects: Emgwenya (formerly: Waterval Boven) & Pilgrim’s Rest. Emgwenya and Pilgrim’s Rest both have a rare array of underexploited, and potentially highly profitable, tourism assets, scenic natural wonders, and rich archaeological, political and industrial histories. However, both of the towns are in a spiralling socio-economic crises and in dire need of a well-planned revitalisation programme. The Feasibility Studies aimed to rejuvenate the vision for the both the sites and to develop a plan to move forward.
