LSP was appointed to research and archive stories of 50 women, largely hailing from the Gauteng area, who participated in the struggle for liberation. The Gauteng Provincial Government, through the Office of the Premier, commissioned this project in order to acknowledge, document and celebrate the massive contribution made by women to our democracy.
